ORDERING
How long does it take to receive my order?
We dispatch all orders within 5 days. North Island couriers take an additional 1-2 days, South Island couriers take an additional 2-3 days. Rural delivery may take longer. It's best to get orders delivered to a business address.
Am I able to track my order?
Yes, when your order is dispatched, you will receive courier tracking information to keep an eye on your parcel's progress.
I would like to pick up my order?
Yes, once your order is ready for pickup, you will receive a text message. If placing your order online you get an opportunity to select pickup at the last step of checkout process. Our hours and location are listed under the Contact Us tab in the Footer of the site.
Can I change the order once it is confirmed?
Once an order is confirmed and we have started it, there can be no changes made to it. If you need to add to the order, the additions will be treated as a new order.
Do you have a showroom?
Yes we do. You may visit our display at 4-6 De Leeuw Place, Te Rapa, Hamilton. Our hours and location are listed under the Contact Us tab in the Footer of the site. We prefer orders to be placed online, as this is more efficient and cheaper for you.
Can we have this order ASAP?
Yes, depending on the time of year and our work load, we may have the capacity to speed things up. Please make contact to discuss your timeframe, as we maybe able to help.
Do you offer discounts?
We offer quantity discounts, the more you buy of the same product the better the price gets. For example, if you are buying 5 items of the same thing enter 5 in the Qty box then Add to Cart. The discount will then be applied and you will see it on the cart summary page. A mistake some customers make is they enter the items individually, then don't get the quantity discount.
LOGOS | ARTWORK
Is the logo fee a one off charge?
Yes. You are charged once for each logo. Once the logo is setup you can have it engraved on 1 or many awards for years to come.
What type of File Formats are suitable?
Our preferred file types are Vector. Vector formats are graphics that are made up of lines and fills. This allows us to change colours in your logo to suit the engraving and printing process. EPS, AI and PDF are vector formats that give the best results. The next level down are image type files that we manually convert to vector files. These are photo type images like, JPG, PNG and BMP. Note, saving a photo as a PDF does not change it to vector format. We use Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator as our design software.
How do I send in artwork / logo to use on my award?
Email your files to [email protected] using your Order Number as a reference.
Is my artwork/logo good enough?
Logos taken from web sites are generally poor quality when they are enlarged and engraved/printed onto awards. Our engraving and printing equipment is extremely accurate and will engrave/print exactly. A fuzzy logo will be fuzzy on the award. To test your logo, zoom in on your screen, if it is blurry then you may want to find the original file. The better the images, the better the final product will be. When you place your order we will check your artwork and advise if it is not suitable.

 

 

SHIPPING
How much freight do I pay?
Our courier fee is $10.60 for North Island parcels and $12.80 for South Island Parcels. Rural Delivery $5.00 on all parcels. It is best to get parcels delivered to a business address.
When will the courier deliver my trophies?
This is a general answer as we are not in control of your parcel once it has left our premises. North Island customers generally receive their goods by 2pm the day after dispatch. South Island customers generally receive their goods by 2pm, 2 days after dispatch. Rural delivery, add an extra day. When your order is dispatched, track and trace details are emailed to you. To insure your order is dispatched on time, please make your payment as soon as your job is confirmed.
My parcel has not been delivered as expected?
You will have received tracking information via email when your order was sent. Its best to contact the courier directly to track and trace.
Can I pickup my order?

ENGRAVING | PRINTING
What is standard engraving?
Standard engraving is generally 3-4 lines of text on trophy plates and approximately 5-6 lines on an Acrylic Award. Text will be centred. We will let you know if what you have submitted is too busy prior to us confirming your job.
Can you fix our spelling errors?
If the order is already confirmed and engraved, then there will be a charge to redo the trophy or plate. If we make the error we will fix it for free.
I would prefer to email my engraving?

If you require lots of trophies, the best way to email your engraving is in an excel worksheet. If you are doing 3 lines of engraving on the trophy plate, use 3 columns, Line 1, Line 2, Line 3. Do not use any tabs or special characters. We will centre the engraving. If you are using a word processor, type Line 1, press Enter type Line 2, press Enter type Line 3, press Enter x2 then repeat. Email your files to [email protected] using your Order Number as a reference.

 

Can I have Colour added to my award?
Yes, we can add colour to your awards. We have printers which use a durable UV ink. There maybe additional charges for this, but we will inform you of this prior to starting. Crystal is not suitable to colour print on.
What colour is laser engraving?
The laser engraving process burns the surface to remove the top layer of the material. Our trophy plates are made from a gold/black material. Once engraved the text appears black. Glass, crystal and acrylic appears changes to a frosted white colour.
PAYMENT
Can you email me the invoice to pay on?
An invoice is only printed when goods are dispatched. We can provide you with an Order Confirmation which has the exact same amounts on it to pay on if you wish. The invoice is delivered with the package unless otherwise stated.
Payment type available?
If you place your order online, during the checkout process you have the option of VISA or MASTERCARD, Bank Deposit, or payment in store. If you are visiting our store in Hamilton then Cash and EFTPOS are additional options. Our bank details are: ASB Bank, Acct: 12-3123-0013139-00 Acct Name: T/A Awards NZ. Use your Order Number as the reference. Please wait until we have confirmed your order total before making payment.
Is it OK to send my credit card details via email?
It would probably be safer to give us a call with your credit card details over the phone, or place your order via the webstore which has a secure credit card facility.
Can I put $$ directly into your bank account?
Yes you can but wait until we have confirmed your order. Please use your Order Number we allocate you as the reference.
I would like to cancel my order and get my money back?
If we have not started your order, we can arrange a refund. If your order was paid via credit card through the webstore, the pending charge will automatically drop off your card within 7 days. If you have paid via another method, we will refund you the same way, i.e. same credit card or bank account number for refund.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
Will you be getting more of this in time for my event?
We cannot guarantee when an award will go back in stock. Please check the large selection of awards on our website - you are sure to find something similar that will suit your needs. The vast majority of our range is made in house, but there are some items we do import. These products are all restocked by May each year.
QUOTES
Can I have a quote?
Yes you can. Please have a look through the website to get an idea of your requirements. We will then email an official quote. Depending on our work load a quote may take 1-2 days to prepare.
Alternatives to a Quote?
If you want to know what your order is going to cost, add all the products you wish to purchase to the webstore, and it will give you a grand total.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
I am overseas, can I place an order for delivery in NZ?
Yes you can. The only glitch with our webstore is you will need to enter a NZ address for Sold To and Ship To fields at checkout. We can modify later if your overseas address is important for the invoice.

What shipping company do you use for an international order?
Normally we send using New Zealand Posts international courier service. We also can send using FEDEX. Let us know the service level you require and we will organize accordingly.
ENGRAVING WIZARD
How do I work the Wizard?

Some of our products use an Engraving Wizard to help with entering the engraving details. Press the ADD COMMENTS/ENGRAVING, a pop up will appear looking like the image below. Enter the QTY required. Then add your engraving using Option 1 or Option 2. Press "SUBMIT" when completed. Pop up will close, now press ADD TO CART.
