What is standard engraving?

Standard engraving is generally 3 lines of text on trophy plates and approximately 5 lines on an Acrylic Award. We will let you know if what you have submitted is not standard engraving prior to us confirming your job.

Can you send me a printed catalogue?

Click on the "Get Catalogue" button above, then on the "Catalogue Request" button on the side, there is an automated system that will send a catalogue out to you.

How long do orders take?

We like to work with the 5 working day turnaround scenario. 5 days from confirmation of your order, not 5 days from your first query. There are some cases where we can get it done sooner but please be aware this is not always possible. If delivery is to the south island, or rural delivery, please add an extra day.

Can I have a quote?

Yes you can. Please have a look through the catalogue to get an idea of your requirements. We will then email/fax/post an official quote.

Do you have a showroom?

Yes, we do. You may view our extensive award display, place an order and obtain a Catalogue at 4 De Leeuw Place, Te Rapa, Hamilton. We are open Monday-Friday from 8.30am-5.00pm. We will also be open Saturday mornings during certain weeks during August & September.

How much freight do I pay?

All goods are couriered unless otherwise specified e.g. pickup. Otherwise courier fee is $6.60 for North Island parcels, & $8.80 for South Island Parcels.

Rural Delivery $3.80 on all parcels.

South Island freight is sent on a 2 day service so please allow enough time to receive your order.

Can we have this order ASAP?

As soon as the payment has gone through we will dispatch the goods. We generally do not start to make your order until payment has been received so please do not delay making payment.

Can you send/email me the invoice to pay on?

An invoice is only printed when goods are dispatched. We can provide you with a quote which has the exact same amounts on it to pay on if you wish. The invoice is delivered with the package unless otherwise stated.

Is it OK to send my credit card details via email?

It would probably be safer to give us a call with your credit card details over the phone, or place your order via the webstore which has a secure credit card facility. Your card will not be charged until your we have confirmed your order.

When will you deliver my trophies?

North Island customers generally receive there goods by 2pm the day after dispatch. Rural delivery & South Island customers add an extra day. If you order through the webstore you will be notified via email track and trace details of the shipment when it leaves our premises. If your parcel has not arrived by 3pm, please call so we can start tracking the shipment.

To insure your order is dispatched on time, please make your payment as soon as your job is confirmed.

Cheque, credit card, bank deposit. If you are visiting our store in Hamilton then cash and eftpos are options too.

How long does a quote normally take?

Depending on our workload it can take up to 1 day to get it to you.

Can I put $$ directly into your bank account?

Yes you can but wait until we have confirmed your order. Please use your name as a reference or your order number if you used the webstore.

Can you fix our spelling errors?

If the order is already confirmed and engraved, then there will be a charge to redo the trophy or plate. If we make the error we will fix it for free.

Can we change the font?

In some cases it is possible. If you require a certain font then we need it emailed to us. This will incur additional fees. Otherwise fonts come standard. We are expert engravers and we want to make the engraving to look as good as possible, please trust our judgment.

Can I change the order once it is confirmed?

Once an order is confirmed and we have started it, there can be no changes made to it. If you need to add to the order, the additions will be treated as a new order.

Can I have the wording on an acrylic coloured?

The wording appears frosted white if laser engraved. We can also print onto the acrylic at 1200 dpi (which is almost photo graphic quality) logos, photographs or solid colours (including white ink). See section 13 under the catalogue tab above.

Is the logo fee a one off charge?

Yes. You are charged once for each logo. Once the logo is setup you can have it engraved on 1 or many awards.

How do I email my engraving?

Please provide engraving information as follows:

What you type is what will be engraved.
Maximum engraving per line - About 38 characters, anymore and text starts to condense. We will size the text using our typeface and format it to fit the engraving plate.

To submit the example of engraved plates seen on the below left, type in WordPad or Microsoft Word. Type lines in 1 single column without using any Tabs or Special Characters.

Is my artwork good enough?

Logo's from business cards or web sites are generally poor quality when they are enlarged and engraved onto awards. Our engraving equipment is extremely accurate and will engrave exactly. A fuzzy logo will be fuzzy. A good logo will be as good as what is supplied. To test your logo, zoom in on your screen, and see if it compares to our samples below.

The image on the left will engrave well. The image on the right with the blurred edges will be more challenging. The better the images, the better the final product will be.
